MCIN's Affiliate programs all have the opportunity to help FH get children sponsored. Food for the Hungry was founded in 1971 and gave birth to the ministry now at work in more than 26 countries worldwide. These countries include; Haiti, Guatemala, Rwanda, Peru, Ethiopia. Food for the Hungry’s vision is to end physical and spiritual hunger around the world.

What can I do to help?
By sponsoring a child you are helping to provide them with much needed clothing, shelter, food, proper immunization and discipleship. Sponsorship gives you the opportunity to bring hope into the life of a child. By sponsoring a child you are showing them someone cares and offering them hope for a much brighter future for their lives. Food for the Hungry does not duplicate packets- in fact each child only needs one sponsor and each packet represents a unique child.
Where does my money go?
The “Food for the Hungry” sponsorship strategy is geared toward empowering and equipping families, the local church and the leadership of the community to meet the needs of their children. Your monthly pledge will help meet the critical needs of the child you sponsor as well as other children in the community. By sponsoring a child your committing to give a monthly gift is of $32.
